Integrity, life long support, 2 years genetic health warranty.
Cat breeding had interested me for a long time, and as perverse as it may sound, I wouldn't have tried it had it not been for Covid and working from home for such an extended period of time. This sad affair allowed me to dip my toes into the breeding world. I have experienced many victories and defeats in the past years, and realized that my commitment is strong. My interest is not financial, I am interested in the cat genetics and bettering the British Cat type. Thankfully, my day job allows me to have this expensive hobby.
I have a very busy day job and cannot often take phone calls. Is it best to text me @ 216-273-4480 and request a call at a time convenient for both of us. Emailing works as well (loveofbrits@outlook.com).
Glad you asked, please visit this page to read all about it!
Love of animals, patience, financial stability and responsibility!
The Application Form helps me decide on a suitable home for my kittens. I want to ensure that they are loved and cared for "in sickness and in health". Please understand that a cat is possibly a 15-20 year long commitment.
Each application is carefully reviewed within 24 hours from the submission time. I'll reach out to you via your preferred method of communication listed in the application. Please make sure to provide correct contact information.
If you have been approved, you may request a video interview to meet me and see the kitten. During the interview, you can ask any questions and solidify a pick-up date. A $500 deposit can be paid by Zelle, Cash App and Paypal. You will be provided weekly/semi-weekly kitten updates with pictures and videos.
I like to keep my kittens with their Mom until they are 12 weeks old. My main goal is to make sure that they know how to be a proper cat, are potty-trained and socialized. Some of my kittens will be spayed/neutered, so they will go home after they are healed (after 14 weeks). With all of this being said, I may allow for an earlier adoption under certain circumstances.
Please keep in mind that my kittens are not to be let outside to prevent encounters with feral cats or other animals. Plus, no fleas or ticks.
I offer a life long support for my kittens. I strongly advise that you to get a health insurance for the kitten at least initially. I offer a 30-day free health insurance through Trupanion. I like the idea that you can enroll for the first 30 days for free, and if you decide not to go with it, you don't have to remember to sign off from it. If you do not renew, they will not charge you anything extra.
Retired cats are former purebred breeding cats that are being retired from the breeding program for various reasons:
age (I don't want to breed my females past the age of 5 years and males - 6 years);
unsuitability for the breeding program - not every cat is meant to be a parent.
Retired cats make perfect house pets. I ensure that I buy breeding cats with a perfect temperament. Once they are retired from the breeding program, they are spayed/neutered. Spay/neuter is super important for any cat as it relieves them from the nature-imposed hormonal drive to reproduce.
When you get your retired cat, it may look on the slim side. But within a very short time it will become plump and well adjusted. A retired breeding cat will also fulfill your dream of having a purebred cat at half the price of a purebred kitten. Additionally, you don't have to worry about potty training them. My cats are also socialized with dogs.
I understand that life is unpredictable and plans can change. The $500 deposit is partially refundable: $300 of the deposit will be refunded as soon as the kitten gets adopted by new pet parents.
Yes, returning customers, as well as buying more than one kitten, will get a 5% discount off the total price.
